These RSS instructions provide guidance on the general process for using the ITS RSS subscription service. Here are the steps involved in downloading an RSS reader, installing a reader, and subscribing to receive ITS related information using an RSS reader.
The first step is to select and download an RSS reader. There are a number of free RSS readers available through the Internet. You can also purchase an RSS reader if you want a more full-featured reader. For your convenience, links to some popular free RSS readers are provided below. Note that the DOT ITS RSS subscription service has been tested using the GreatNews Reader.
After you have downloaded a reader, follow the steps given provided by the RSS readers Web site and software to install the reader on your local computer system. Note: If you are prohibited from installing RSS software on your computer, consider downloading and installing an on-line RSS reader, which do not require any software to be installed on your local computer. Some popular Web-based RSS readers are shown in the list below:
Once you have installed an RSS reader, you can subscribe to channels for the types of information that interest you.
